Bharva Bhindi, also known as Stuffed Okra, is a popular Indian dish where fresh okra (bhindi) is slit and stuffed with a flavourful mixture of spices. Ingredients
  • 250g fresh bhindi
  • 2 tsp KPG Sabji Masala
  • 1 tsp KPG coriander powder
  • 1 tsp KPG dry mango powder (amchur)
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp KPG red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 tsp cooking oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Steps
  • Wash and slit bhindi, keep aside.
  • Mix KPG Sabji Masala, KPG coriander powder, KPG amchur powder, cumin powder, KPG red chili powder, and salt for stuffing.
  • Sauté stuffing mix in 2 tsp oil until fragrant, then cool.
  • Stuff bhindi with the masala mixture evenly.
  • In a pan, heat 2 tbsp oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chopped onions, and sauté until translucent.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste, sauté for 2 minutes.
  • Place stuffed bhindi in the pan, cover, and cook on low-medium heat for 15-20 minutes, tossing occasionally.
